The Friday night blues session is Nottingham’s only blues-dedicated radio show.
Your host – Colin Etches – plays a blend of of blues from the 1930s to the present day.
Trawling right back to the roots of blues music, Colin features artists including Tampa Red, Robert Johnson, Howling Wolf, T-Bone Walker and John Lee Hooker.
Quality British artists including Alexis Korner, John Mayall & Peter Green are also featured, along with more contemporary recording artists such as Stevie Ray Vaughan & Robert Cray.
Whatever your taste in blues, Trent Sound’s Friday Blues show is the area’s premier resource for blues classic and modern, every Friday evenings 7-10 only on Trent Sound
